Crystal Professional Maintenance Manual
Suitable for all natural crystals such as white crystal, amethyst, yellow crystal, pink crystal, tea crystal, hair crystal, titanium crystal, green ghost, rabbit hair, gel flower, starlight crystal, etc.
Daily wear: 3 principles of not wearing
1.Do not touch chemicals when bathing, washing face, making up, spraying perfume, and doing housework. Shampoo, shower gel, disinfectant, and cosmetics can corrode crystal surfaces and darken their luster.
2.Amethyst, pink crystal, yellow crystal, and purple yellow crystal are most afraid of sunlight. Long term exposure to sunlight can cause fading, lightening, and whitening. Try not to wear it to the beach or expose it to prolonged sunlight.
3.Crystals with high hardness but high brittleness are prone to breakage, cracking, and fracture when dropped, bumped, or squeezed. Store separately and do not rub against metal, diamonds, or jade objects piled together.
Professional cleaning methods
1. Daily quick cleaning (safest)
- Rinse with clean water at room temperature for 1-2 minutes
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth/eyeglass cloth
- Once or twice a month
2. Deep cleaning (when foggy or oily)
- Warm water+minimal amount of neutral hand soap/dishwashing liquid
- Gently brush the gaps (bracelet holes, pendant holes) with a soft bristled brush
- Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly. Taboos: Do not use toothpaste, laundry detergent, strong acids or alkalis.
3. Absolutely cannot do it
- Do not use ultrasonic cleaning machines (which can cause ice cracking, crystallization, and ghosting)
- Do not use steam cleaning
- Do not soak in salt water, vinegar, or alcohol for a long time
Professional demagnetization purification (orthodox method)
1. Crystal cavity/crystal cluster demagnetization (most recommended)
- Place on natural white crystal caves/clusters for 4-8 hours
- Safe, gentle, and does not harm any crystals
2. Natural aromatherapy demagnetization
- Sandalwood, mugwort, agarwood, etc
- Light fumigate for a few minutes
3. Moonlight demagnetization
- Place the windowsill on the night of a full moon or new moon for one night
- Soft, non fading, suitable for all crystals
4. Soil burial demagnetization (use with caution)
- Bury in clean soil overnight
- Pay attention to moisture and dirt prevention
Special maintenance for different crystals
1.Amethyst, pink crystal, and yellow crystal are afraid of direct sunlight and high temperatures. It is strictly prohibited to expose them to direct sunlight, keep them away from heating and car lights
2.Hair crystals, titanium crystals, and green ghosts have multiple internal inclusions, which cannot be sonicated or heavily impacted
3.Tea crystals and white crystals are relatively stable → normal cleaning is sufficient
4.Gel flower, blue needle, and water gall crystal are extremely delicate → Handle with care, do not drop, press, or heat up
Storage and organization
- Separate soft cloth bags/jewelry boxes
- Avoid moisture, high temperature, and direct sunlight
- Long term non wearing: cleaning → drying → sealed storage
Determine whether maintenance is needed
Clean and demagnetize if the following situations occur:
- Surface oiling, fogging, and dullness
- Feeling irritable and tired after wearing it
- Newly purchased, worn by others, and visited many cluttered places
